Our second edition of this legendary Iona Wool blanket is a little lighter than the original but no less reassuring. At 1.7kg it still offers that comforting hold if you’re under it, and a durable support if it’s under you.

Skilfully woven with an experimental chunky yarn spun from our first edition of Iona Wool - a yarn so beautiful, thick and gnarly you can almost make out the individual sheep - it’s a serious bit of textile.

• Woven 8 miles from source on the mighty Dobcross loom at Ardalanish - a wind powered, zero waste, micro mill.

• Six different breeds combine to make the natural silver - the collective colour of the island flock, vintage IW1.
